What is a Permanent Seat License (PSL)?

A PSL is a paid license that entitles the holder to the right to buy season tickets for a certain seat in a stadium. This holder can sell the seat license to someone else if they no longer wish to purchase season tickets.

Most seat licenses are valid for as long as the team plays in the current venue. Permanent Seat licenses have been given various names and acronyms such as COA (Charter Ownership Agreements), SBL (Stadium Builder Licenses), SL (Seat Licenses) and CSL (Charter Seat Licenses)

Are Season Tickets included with the Permanent Seat License (PSL)?

Owning a Permanent Seat License (PSL) entitles you the right to purchase season tickets for the seats, every season! Depending on when the seat license transfer is initiated and what the seller decides to include with the transfer, the current year's season tickets may also be available.

Why don’t I see my team listed on Stadium Seat Exchange?

The markets you currently see open are the only teams we allow transfers for. We hope to continue to expand our markets and add new teams and licenses in the future.

How much does it cost to buy a Permanent Seat License (PSL)?

The sellers set their own price based on a variety of factors. Our market allows buyers and sellers to negotiate the selling price if they see fit. Buyers will only pay the sale price agreed to by both parties; Stadium Seat Exchange will NOT charge the buyer any fees to complete the transfer. It’s FREE!

How much does it cost to sell a Permanent Seat License (PSL)?

After negotiating the right price, Stadium Seat Exchange will work with the buyer to secure your payment and only then will the transfer process initiate. We guarantee completion of the transfer before funds are paid. As your agent, Stadium Seat Exchange will charge sellers a small fee of 10% of the agreed upon sale price or $200 minimum (whichever is greater).

How long does the Permanent Seat License (PSL) transfer process take?

Depending on the team we are working with and the time of year we initiate the transfer , the process can take anywhere from 30-60 days on average. In some cases, it may take a full season before a transfer can be completed and confirmed by the team.

Is the Permanent Seat License (PSL) transfer guaranteed?

YES, your transfer is GUARANTEED! Stadium Seat Exchange will work with all parties involved, including the team, to make the transfer process as smooth as possible. Completion of the transfer will be confirmed before the funds are exchanged between buyer and seller. If for any reason the transfer cannot be completed, the buyer and seller will be notified of the reason and the transfer will be canceled and funds returned to buyer.
